Terms of Service
The terms and conditions that apply when you order from doitdeco.
These terms govern the sale of products through the doitdeco online shop. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed with doitdeco, a sole proprietorship of Quy Studer, Bäriswilstrasse 4, 2545 Selzach (see our Imprint). They apply to both private and commercial customers. Conflicting terms are not accepted unless we have agreed to them in writing.
2. Prices
All prices are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) and are final. doitdeco is not registered for Swiss VAT, so no value added tax is added. Shipping costs are shown separately during checkout and added to the order total unless a free-shipping threshold applies. The price displayed at the time of your order applies.
3. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of products in the shop is an invitation to order, not a binding offer. By completing checkout you make a binding offer to purchase the selected products. A contract is concluded when we confirm your order or dispatch the goods, whichever happens first. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable; any payment already made is then refunded.
4. Payment
The following payment methods are available:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), processed securely by our payment provider
- Bank transfer in advance — we dispatch the goods once payment has been received
- Cash on collection by appointment in Selzach
To the extent permitted by law, the goods remain the property of doitdeco until the purchase price has been paid in full (retention of title).
5. Delivery and collection
We deliver within Switzerland. Standard postal delivery costs CHF 8.90 and normally arrives within two to four business days; orders over CHF 100 are delivered free of charge. Free collection in Selzach is available by appointment. Delivery times are estimates and not binding. If an item is delayed, we will inform you as soon as possible.
6. Returns and exchanges
As a gesture of goodwill, you may return unused products in their original packaging within 14 days of receipt. This voluntary right of return is granted in addition to your statutory rights. Details and exclusions are set out on our Returns & Exchanges page.
7. Warranty for defects
Your statutory warranty rights under the Swiss Code of Obligations apply to all products. If a product is defective, please contact us promptly after discovering the defect. Depending on the case, we will arrange repair or replacement, or offer a price reduction or cancellation of the purchase. For new goods sold to consumers, the statutory warranty period is two years from delivery.
8. Liability
We are liable in accordance with the applicable statutory provisions. To the extent permitted by law, liability for slight negligence is excluded. This limitation does not apply to death, personal injury, or damage caused by gross negligence or intent.
9. Data protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP).
10. Applicable law and jurisdiction
Swiss law applies, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For business customers, the place of jurisdiction is the registered seat of doitdeco in the canton of Solothurn. For consumers, the mandatory places of jurisdiction provided by Swiss law apply and are not limited by these terms.
11. Amendments
We may amend these terms at any time. The version published at the time of your order applies to that order.
