Returns & Exchanges
How to return or exchange an item, and your statutory warranty rights.
We want you to be happy with your purchase. Swiss law does not provide a general right of withdrawal for online orders, so the 14-day return below is our own voluntary offer — in addition to your statutory warranty rights, which always apply.
Our 14-day return policy
You may return unused items within 14 days of receiving your order for a refund, provided they are in their original condition and packaging, complete and undamaged.
Please contact us at info@doitdeco.ch before sending anything back, so we can confirm your return and the return address.
Items that cannot be returned
Some items are excluded from the voluntary return option:
- Custom-made, made-to-order or personalised pieces produced specifically for you
- Items that have been used, assembled, altered or damaged after delivery
- Items returned without their original packaging
How to return an item
- Contact us at info@doitdeco.ch within 14 days of receipt
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging
- Send it to the address we confirm, using a tracked service
For voluntary returns, you cover the cost of return shipping. If an item is faulty or we sent the wrong product, we cover the return cost.
Exchanges
Would you prefer a different item? Return the original under the conditions above and place a new order, or contact us and we will help arrange an exchange.
Refunds
Once we have received and checked your return, we refund the purchase price using your original payment method, usually within 14 days. Original shipping costs are not refunded for voluntary returns.
Faulty or damaged items — your warranty
Separately from the voluntary return option, your statutory warranty rights under the Swiss Code of Obligations always apply. If an item arrives damaged or develops a defect, contact us promptly. For new goods sold to consumers, the statutory warranty period is two years from delivery, and we will arrange repair, replacement, a price reduction or cancellation as appropriate.
