This round box is woven by hand from natural seagrass, one piece at a time, giving each lid its own slightly individual pattern within the same overall design. The concentric weave in natural tones with colourful accents makes it as much a small decorative object as a storage piece, and the fitted lid keeps dust out and contents out of view.
At Ø16 × H8 cm and just 120 g, it's easy to tuck onto a desk, a bedroom shelf or a living room console table, where it can hold documents, a sewing kit, phone cables or other small items that don't need to be on display.
In an entryway, it works well on a shoe cabinet shelf or in an open cubby — a good spot for a shoe care kit with brush, polish and cloths, or for spare face masks and folded shopping bags. The lid means none of that has to be visible day to day.
As a 100% natural-fibre piece, keep it away from damp or direct water contact; wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth if needed, and let it air dry fully before closing the lid again.
